Vermicomposting Derived Liquids: Fertigation Potential in Urban Farming

This study investigates the use of vermiwash and vermicomposting leachate as organic foliar fertilisers in urban farming. Applied to sweet potato plants, these nutrient-rich liquids enhanced chlorophyll content and nutrient uptake without causing leaf damage.

The findings highlight their potential as biological alternatives to chemical fertilisers, supporting sustainable and health-conscious agriculture in urban environments.
