As a QUT Bachelor of Industrial Design graduate with First Class Honours and the Executive Deans’ Commendation for Academic Excellence, Francesca brings six years of diverse industry experience to her role at Worms Downunder, a family-owned enterprise. Her career spans small businesses to large-scale operations, fostering a results-driven approach, adaptability, and expertise in delivering optimal outcomes with available resources.
Francesca inherited the family's love for soil through the year-long process of completing a thesis study on large-scale soil regeneration through the application of vermiculture with a focus on food security.
At Worms Downunder, Francesca leads research and development programs, which leads the design and innovation of our award winning products, all in-house. From conceptualisation through to prototyping and mass production, she ensures our solutions meet rigorous standards of functionality and innovation. Additionally, overseeing the company’s marketing strategy and execution.
