Leanne Cameron's Corner - Regenerating for the Generations to Come

Leanne has embarked on the journey of regenerating her 24 acres to bring native grasses and wild life back to the property and ultimately provide a thriving landscape for her children and grand children. She used Worm Brew as the microbial component of her program which has "worked a treat in regeneration of native grasses and grass in general".

The journey continues as the property still contains weed and love grass however, here has been a distinct reduction over the last 11 months, having "truly broken the back of it all here".

Leanne's applications were in the cooler, wetter months to maximise microbial efficacy and paired the applications with Seasol as a food source for the microbes as they went out. We liken pairing microbes with nutrition to putting the microbes out with a 'packed-lunch'. Read more on combining microbes with nutrition here.

More applications are planned in the future as well as the intention to purchase a Worm Mod unit to bring the production of her own worm juice on farm in another 12 months. For now her focus remains: build the microbial populations in the soil and "let Nature do it's thing".

Leanne is a great supporter of Worms Downunder - if you'd like to follow along on her journey, she can be found on Facebook 'Cameron Corner'

"I am grateful to you three for all you have already done for me, shared with me in my dream to make this my rest of life, place of peace, near my darling granddaughters" - Leanne
